Our Philosophy

Rock Your Future seeks to empower today's youth to take control of their own future.  With guidance and support from his or her own private counselor combined with family support, a student will embark on an informed, systematic college and career exploration.   They will experience success and gain confidence with each step they take toward their goals.  As adults, we sometimes think it's easier to do it for them.  But our young people are growing up, and they now need to develop skills to navigate their own lives effectively.  By helping them learn to do it themselves through this important process, we are giving them so much more than a good college or career.  We are giving them the power to control their destiny.

  Suzanne Rossi is an Independent College and Career Counselor serving young people and their families in the Philadelphia metro area and nationwide.  Suzanne has a B.A. from Penn State University, an M.A. from New School University, and an M.S. in Counseling from Villanova University.  She also holds a PA Secondary School Counseling Certification. Ms. Rossi is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling, Higher Education Consultants Association, National Career Development Association, and the American School Counselor Association.  She participates in  numerous professional organizations (both at the regional and national levels), attends workshops and conferences, consistently researches the latest news and trends, and visits college campuses regularly.
